Farm gate prices in Hungary were up 6.2pc year-on-year in September, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) said. The price of live animals and animal products fell 2.8pc, but crop prices were up 12.1pc.
Grain prices were up 15.4pc, as the price of maize climbed 12pc and wheat prices rose 18pc.
