Talentis Agro Zrt. has concluded a sales contract for the entire shareholding of Kartali Vagyonkezelő Zrt., which brings together several agricultural interests, including Gödöllő Tangazdaság Zrt. Following the approval of the Hungarian Competition Authority, Talentis Agro Holding’s agro-food portfolio will be expanded to include strategic elements – said Gyula Csák, Chief Operating Officer of Talentis Agro Zrt. The Talentis Agro Holding, which currently manages 38,000 hectares, intends to further strengthen the strategic development of its business units announced this year.

Gödöllő Tangazdaság Zrt. cultivates more than 4,500 hectares of land, including 323 hectares of orchards, in Kartal and Hatvan areas, including integration. The tango farm belongs to one of the most important cereal seed farms in the north-eastern region of Hungary, which, in addition to seed processing, has bulk and finished goods warehouses and has its own laboratory. Next to the orchards is a state-of-the-art cold store that can hold more than 600 tons of fruit at the same time and has the infrastructure for processing fresh fruit. The brandy is produced in one of the country’s largest brandy distilleries with traditional aging and distillation technology. They also operate state-of-the-art dairy farms with a capacity of 750 cows and a breeding capacity.

Talentis Agro Zrt. Is a 100% hungarian-owned (Mr. Meszaros – the editor) agricultural and food business group specializing in crop production and animal husbandry, said Szabolcs Makai, the company’s strategic director. In addition to animal husbandry, much of their plant production capacity is utilized in seed production and food processing. Their livestock division is the dairy cattle sector, with a stock of 6,000 cows with excellent genetic and productive abilities, and the pig business, which can accommodate nearly 53,000 pigs with white pigs and mangalica. Laying hens and egg production are also pillars of the divisions.
