Gabriella Heiszler, the company’s managing director, said at a press conference in Kaposvár that the city will build an 11,000-square-foot building complex, half of which will operate as an Interspark, with commercial units serving the other half.

The company has decided to take into consideration the energy efficiency aspects of the city, considering the dynamic development of the city, its purchasing power and the demanding customer base living there, and the development using the most modern technologies. Over the past four years, SPAR Hungary has spent one and a half billion forints on modernizing its existing stores in Kaposvár.

Interspar will offer 20,000 products to customers, create 560 parking spaces in front of the building, and charge electric cars on site.

SPAR Hungary said in a statement on the Turkish Balint project: The supermarket will be built on Tópark Street for 2 billion forints and will create 32 jobs. The state-of-the-art building complex will be more than 4,700 square meters, of which the supermarket will be approximately 2,200 square meters, with the remaining space occupied by business lines. For the family, a playground and a production market are planned for the area.
