Waberer’s buys 120 Mercedes-Benz lorries
Hungarian road haulage company Waberer’s International signed an agreement to buy 120 Mercedes-Benz tractors, president and CEO Gyorgy Waberer said. Mr Waberer did not disclose the price, only said the deal will bring the company’s fleet to 3,400. He said the purchase is on top of the 1,000 lorries they planned to buy this year, noting that a double-digit growth of sales allows for the bigger than planned expansion. Waberer’s International had after-tax profit of EUR 12.2m on sales of EUR 430.9m last year.
