Erste Bank to keep offering euro-based loans

Mr Sztano said the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA) last week urged a cutback not on all new foreign-currency lending by Austrian banks in Eastern Europe, but a restriction of non-euro-based ones. Erste Bank only gives out forint-based and euro-based loans, Mr Sztano said.
