Hungary business sector employment down 2.7 percent

The number of business sector employees fell by 50,000 from a year earlier to 1,815,900 in June, and was down 900 from May. The decline came after steady year-on-year increase between May 2010 and November 2011. First-half employment in the sector was down 1.8pc from a year earlier. Business sector employment rose 1.3 percent last year and rose 0.3 percent in 2010, after falling 6.7 percent on the economic crisis in 2009.
