Poultry processor wins job-creation support
Zalai Baromfifeldolgozo will make 120 new hires by next February, but wants to gradually bring the number of staff to about 200, said managing director Tibor Bedo. The new hires will work at a HUF 1.5bn plant to be put into operation in October, he added. Zalai Baromfifeldolgozo won a HUF 401m grant for the expansion on top of the HUF 224m in job-creation support. The company aims to bring its annual processing capacity to 2.5m chickens and 800,000 turkeys. Zalai Baromfifeldolgozo was established by 90 poultry farmers and two feed mixers.
