Mr Feher said the company won a HUF 338m grant from the Agriculture and Rural Development Office for the investment. He added that the distillery would have capacity for more than 350 tonnes of fruit a year. Somlo spirit plans to inaugurate the distillery in May of this year but it will not start operating until 2013.
