The automated irrigation system was built with European Union support, Mr Eder said. Dalmand also recently completed a HUF 340m fish farm investment, supported with a grant from the European Fisheries Fund. Dalmand grows wheat, maize and oil seed crops on 8,800 hectares. The company had revenue of HUF 5.5bn in 2010.
