Kekkuti Mineral Water sales grow in 2011

Kekkuti, a unit of Nestle Waters, retained its leading position on the Hungarian market for mineral water in 2011 – marketing manager Krisztina Nemedi told. Sales revenue fell, however, to HUF 5.5 bn from HUF 5.8 bn in 2010, they could not reduce losses because of increasing fuel and PET raw material costs. Losses totalled HUF 500m in 2010. Kekkuti plans to increase sales volume by 2.5 pc and the number of employees from the current 80 in 2012, she added. Kekkuti has capacity to bottle 900,000 bottles per day. The company spent almost HUF 500 m on investments in 2011.
