The new production line will turn out caps for markets in Norway, Denmark and Sweden. Bericap invested EUR 4m at its plant in 2008. It won a HUF 145m grant from the Economic Operative Programme for the investments. Bericap produces about 4.5bn caps a year. Even though Bericap plans to boost production 10pc in 2009, it projects flat revenue of HUF 11.5bn because of higher polyethylene prices.
