Oszko supports proposals by road haulage companies
The ministry made the statement after Mr Oszko met for talks with president of the Hungarian Road Haulage Association Gyorgy Waberer following a meeting the National Interest Coordination Council (OET) on Friday. The government will request a derogation from the EU allowing a special price for diesel for haulage companies to be introduced, Mr Oszko said. Proposed legislation would eliminate the tax exemption for fuel-savings and raise the excise tax on fuel.
