Russian pork giant hitting feed targets
The total feed production planned for 2012 is 731,500 tonnes. If they achieve their goal they will be able to provide 2.1 million pigs with feed. Miratorg is also planning to open its third feed mill in the Belgorod region this year, with a production capacity of 360,000 tonnes per year. Thus, the estimated production capacity of the three feed mills in the Belgorod region starting 2013 will be 1.1 million tonnes per year. Miratorg is currently Russia’s largest animal feed manufacturer.
