K&H has confidence in agricultural market participants, but why has 2026 become a dark year for Hungarian agriculture?
Following last year’s optimism, the K&H SME Agricultural Confidence Index fell sharply by 18 points. Although this figure is not exceptionally low compared to recent years, the previous optimism has clearly been replaced by uncertainty in the Hungarian agricultural sector. Investments have slowed down in both agriculture and the food industry: sector players are adopting a wait-and-see approach – as revealed at K&H Bank’s industry press briefing, which focused on the major trends currently shaping the domestic agricultural sector and their expected impacts.

A múlt év optimizmusa után drasztikusan, 18 ponttal esett vissza a K&H kkv agrár bizalmi index. Bár ez az érték az elmúlt évekhez viszonyítva nem számít kirívóan alacsonynak, a korábbi bizakodást egyértelműen felváltotta a bizonytalanság a magyar agrárvilágban. Mind a mezőgazdaságban, mind az élelmiszeriparban lelassultak a beruházások: a szektor szereplői kivárnak – derült ki a K&B Bank szakmai sajtóbeszélgetésén, ahol a hazai agráriumot jelenleg meghatározó fő trendekről és azok várható hatásairól volt szó.
