Prices of crops fell 3.7pc and prices of animal and animal products were down 7.1pc in November. The price of grain rose 1.4pc as wheat prices dropped 13.3pc but maize prices rose 15.0pc. Oil seed prices dropped 14.1pc, potato prices climbed 21.3pc, vegetable prices dipped 13.5pc and fruit prices were down 11.5pc. The price of animals for slaughter declined 6.8pc as cattle prices rose 6.0pc, but hog and poultry prices fell 12.6pc and 4.2pc, respectively. Farm gate prices fell 10.2pc in January-November. Prices of crops slipped 14.0pc and prices of animals and animal products dropped 4.3pc. Grain prices were down 15.9pc as wheat prices fell 26.1pc and maize prices slid 7.7pc. Vegetable prices dipped 7.7pc as the price of tomatoes plunged 59.7pc and cabbage prices dropped 49.3pc. Fruit prices dropped 19.8pc. The price of animals for slaughter rose 1.4pc as prices for hogs and cattle rose 6.1pc and 8.6pc, respectively, but poultry prices fell 5.3pc.
