Auchan fined for selling milk under cost

Auchan has already paid the fine, the ministry said. Some imported UHT milk has been sold for HUF 115-145 per litre recently, while domestic UHT milk is not sold for any less than HUF 170-180 per litre, the ministry said. The Dairy Products Council reported Auchan Magyarorszag as well as the local unit of UK supermarket chain Tesco for selling under cost in September. The review of Tesco is expected to end at the beginning of December, the ministry said.
