Auchan focuses on making Hungarian business profitable
Technical preparations for five projects — four outside of Budapest and one in the capital — are underway, and the company is working to open up new stores in 2012, Mr Ducoux said. Auchan Magyarorszag had gross revenue of HUF 225bn in 2010, about the same as in 2009, former CEO Jean-Paul Filliat said in March. Auchan Magyarorszag had a loss of just over HUF 7bn in 2010, an improvement over the HUF 7.9bn loss in 2009, he added. Mr Ducoux took over as CEO from Mr Filliat in April.
