Bioenergy-Miskolc Szolgaltato to build HUF 780m biomass power-plant

The European Union provided HUF 320m in support for construction of the plant, while Bioenergy-Miskolc Szolgaltato is funding the remainder of the project with HUF 310m in bank loans and HUF 150m in its own resources. Mr Mehn said that the 3MW plant would use 4,000 tonnes of wood chips annually to generate power. The facility is expected to begin operation next year. Power from the plant will be used for district heating.
