Glencore Grain loses trading rights on Budapest Bourse

The step came after the company informed the bourse that Hungarian market watchdog PSZAF had withdrawn its right to trade on its own account as part of its license of performing commodity-exchange service activities. The contract for the section membership is phased out with the withdrawal of the license. Irrespective of losing its section membership the company must carry out its obligations originating from before, the decision said citing the interest of the market, a request by the Central Depository and Clearing House Keler and the large number of open positions Glencore Grain Hungary holds with Keler. A section member is not entitled to fees from the bourse if its contract is phased out.
