Hungary gross wages rise 5.9pc in April

The rise followed a 1.4pc year-on-year decline in March and a 4.8pc increase in February. Gross wages in the business sector rose 4.0pc in April and public sector wages were up 10.8pc. Net wages were up 7.6pc in April, well over the 1.7pc increase in March. Net wages rose 7.4pc in the business sector and were up 8.0pc in the public sector.
