Hungary’s twelve-month consumer price index dropped sharply, to 0.9pc in October from 1.4pc in September, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) said.Hungarian analysts polled had estimated the headline figure fell to 1.3pc. Emerging market analysts in London had put the index to between 1.2pc and 1.4pc. Consumer prices fell 0.3pc in a month after increasing 0.5pc in September.
