The combination of lectures with topical subjects, such as plant protection, bacteria infection, marketing, hail protection and the specialised fair together with the frequently mentioned „kind hearted nature” of the southern Germans are a good combination for a successful fair. Cooperation within horticulture in European regions is also growing, such as the cooperation between Veiling Haspengauw and BayWa for sorting pears and the cultivation of Kanzi and other club varieties bring growers and sales organisations closer together by adjusting cultivation to sales. The quality of the fair and the location in the middle of the second largest apple region of Germany, 7,000 HA of fruit, was appreciated by the exhibitors, who quite easily reach their clients in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in this way. Next time the fruit growers will be able to meet again in Friedrichshafen from 24-26 February 2012.
