Pennfield, with locations in Mount Joy, Martinsburg and South Montrose, Pa., is a 93-year old manufacturer of feed for poultry, dairy and companion animals over a multi-state region of the eastern US. Wenger Feeds is a manufacturer and supplier of poultry and swine feed, feed ingredients and allied services in the Mid-Atlantic region. „We feel this acquisition is a natural fit as we look strategically towards our future,” said Barry Shaw, owner and chairman of the board of Wenger Feeds. The final date for transfer has not been set; however, a smooth, orderly transition is expected for the employees, customers and suppliers involved, the announcement said.
