The consultancy said the volume had included 270.000 tonnesof wheat, 145.200 tonnes of barley and 499.300 tonnes of maize. According to data provided by another consultancy, ProAgro, Ukrainian exports of three major grain commodities fell to 476.200 tonnes in November from 1,38 million in October due to export quotas, introduced by the government. The goverment imposed grain export quotas of 2,7 milliontonnes until the end of this year but this week it extended the limits into the first three months of 2011 and issued additional quotas for exports of 500.000 tonnes of wheat and 1 million of maize. The government has said the quotas will help the country toavoid grain shortages after a drought reduced harvests.
