Commission publishes 2009 Agricultural Financial Reports
The EAGF finances the expenditure on direct payments to farmers; measures to regulate agricultural markets, such as public intervention and private storage aid; information and promotion of agricultural products; restructuring aid, aid for diversification and transitional aid provided in the temporary scheme for the restructuring of the sugar industry in the EU. The EAFRD finances the rural development programmes of the Member States.
The financial reports for 2009 are now available.
