Hungarian-Chinese Mixed Economic Committee meets in Budapest

New initiatives to expand and intensify bilateral cooperation in the areas of economy and trade were discussed at the meeting, the ministry said. The main topics were air cargo, research and development, environmental protection, the use of water purification technologies, cooperation in the automotive industry sector and the supporting joint investments, it added. The goal of the meeting was to establish concrete business agreements and expand job-creating Chinese investments in Hungary, the ministry said. National Development Minister Tamas Fellegi, who is also government commissioner in charge of Hungarian-Chinese economic relations, led the Hungarian side at the talks.
