Hungary remained in 47th place on Transparency International’s 2014 Corruption Perceptions Index ranking, TI said. Hungary’s score on the index – 0 to 100, with 0 being the most corrupt – was 54, the same as a year earlier. Hungary was ahead of the Czech Republic (53rd), Slovakia (54th) and Romania (69th), but behind Poland (35th).
