Hungary to regulate melon quality from next week

The melons will be classified in two quality categories, Mr Fazekas said. Melon consumption in Hungary has fallen to about 4kg per capita a year. Mr Fazekas encouraged Hungarians to buy one or two more melons, adding that they are „very healthy”. The ministry also wants to require melon sellers to register in the interest of transparency, he said.
